A New Chapter for FIELD

Farmworkers Institute of Education and Leadership Development is proud to announce the search for a President and Chief Executive Officer to help lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact.

FIELD’s programs continue to serve communities across California through education, workforce development, conservation, and supportive services. This includes Escuela Popular Instituto High School, a WASC accredited adult charter high school with seventeen learning centers and twenty two teachers statewide; Kern Services and Conservation Corps, FIELD’s state certified conservation corps providing paid workforce training and environmental service opportunities for young adults; and FIELD’s developing Transitional Housing Facility in Bakersfield, which will provide sixteen housing units to support participants on their path toward stability and self sufficiency.

This recruitment is being led in partnership with the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools and is based in Bakersfield, California, with statewide travel required for site visits.
