Message From the FIELD Leadership

The holiday season will soon be here, and I wanted to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all our students and staff! Your FIELD leadership team has been busy this fall with all our departments running at full steam. You can read more details about our work below. 

Our headquarters and dorm room construction project is almost done – we are expecting occupancy certificates by the beginning of 2025. On the education front, we recently completed our regular WASC accreditation process for our EPIC high school and received positive feedback. 

And we’re pleased to announce that Prop. 4, California’s $10 billion climate change bond was passed by voters on Nov. 5. At least 40% of the money is required to be spent in disadvantaged communities. This bond measure will be a huge boon for our Chavez Environmental Corp teams.
