ABOUT FIELD HUMAN RESOURCES  

At the Farmworkers Institute of Education & Leadership Development (FIELD), the Human Resources department plays a vital role in supporting our mission of empowering underserved communities to achieve economic and social prosperity. Our Human Resources department strives to ensure that FIELD remains compliant with legal and regulatory standards, minimizes organizational risk, and fosters a healthy, inclusive, and productive work environment for all staff and stakeholders.

HR ensures that FIELD adheres to federal, state, and local laws, including employment practices, workplace safety, and educational standards. We implement policies and procedures that protect employees and mitigate risks, aligning with FIELD’s core values of integrity and opportunity. 

A primary goal of HR is to cultivate a positive and supportive workplace culture that aligns with FIELD’s mission and values.

We ensure compliance with training requirements and equip employees with the tools needed to address challenges, such as managing disengaged students or fostering inclusive classrooms. 

HR collaborates across departments to ensure the seamless operation of EPIC educational and workforce development programs. By supporting staff, HR directly contributes to the success of FIELD’s mission to empower underserved communities.
