This handy toolkit – in English and Spanish — from the non-profit Immigrant Legal Resource Center (IRLC), will give you many of the tools you need to help you understand the legal landscape and helps you understand your rights.
Know Your Rights Red Cards/Tarjetas Rojas
You have rights and protections, regardless of your immigration status. The ILRC’s Red Cards will help you defend yourselves if ICE agents come to your home at work. Do Not Open the Door. Do Not Answer Any Questions. Do Not Sign Anything. Show a Copy of Your Red Card to the Agent.
Voting in California – New Voter Information
It’s easy to take part in elections when you have the tools and information! Whether it’s your first time voting or you are an experienced voter who has moved and just need to re-register to vote, Voting in California will give you everything you need to get started.
